NLIR is a small and flexible company with the ambition of growing comprehensively in the present and the upcoming years. We already have products and sales to a range of global customers, but we need a hands-on person to scale and streamline our manufacturing capacity. As our new Production Manager, you will be responsible for organizing highly technical production, implementing structures, and enforcing strategies to secure a stable and uniform production of our mid-infrared light detection devices. A core duty of this position is to bridge the gap between a prototype production form and a batch production with >100 units per year. Another duty is to engage in production optimization in collaboration with the engineering team to make our products easier and cheaper to assemble.

Qualifications:
: The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing the production of technical products and/or hold a degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit proficiency in some (though not necessarily all) of the following areas:
- Experience or education in the production management of technical hardware products.
- Experience with Quality Assurance.
- Experience with specifying and purchasing technical components from various international suppliers.
- Familiarity with working in clean-room environments.
- A positive attitude towards collaborating with diverse teams.
- Basic communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- A keen enthusiasm for establishing and continuously developing stable and uniform production processes.
