NLIR

Infrared Unleashed – enabling a new paradigm in mid-infrared light detection.

NLIR (Non-Linear-Infrared) offers mid-infrared spectrometers, light sources, wavelength converters, interfaces, accessories and complete measurement systems for a wide range of industrial and research applications.

Our spectrometers acquire spectra in milliseconds while still being highly sensitive and vibration tolerant. Our products are based on upconversion technology, a combination of unique patented inventions. The core of the upconversion technology is a non-linear crystal that converts mid-infrared light to near-visible enabling the use of traditional and highly effective silicon-based detectors.

Lasse holds a PhD in nonlinear optics at DTU, and is currently driving our Research & Development innovation at NLIR. Outside work, Lasse spends time in nature with his kids and works voluntary with the local scouts.

Lars has many years of experience in photonics industry, and is now leading our Production Department at NLIR. Lars is also a huge rugby, hard-rock and aquarium-marine-life fan.
